I sit among the photographs
Scattered all around the room
Blacks and whites and colors

There’s a gallery of memories
That is filled with lover’s art
I wander thru it daily
What we painted with our hearts
Hand in hand in Paris
And on the beaches of Cancun
So, how did these memories
Turn to blue, turn to blue

I sit before a canvas
A world of colors I can choose
I lift my brush and close my eyes
To catch a glimpse of you

With a cold December sky
On the brush I use for memories
